The food was good, it was very busy upon arrival- I did a take out and it didn't take me long at all to get my food. The ambiance was cool. If you are ever in the area I would definitely recommend you going to check it out. You want be disappointed!

I'm visiting my friend in Oxford, Alabama for Easter 2023. She told me Brad's Bar-B-Que is really good and we decided to get lunch to go. My friend and her husband always orders Catfish from Brad's and it is odd due to them being a Bar-B-Que Restaurant. The Catfish was so good! Their statement is true, "Put the taste of South in your mouth."

So how do you know a place is great......?????? 430pm on a Wednesday and the parking lot is full that's how.... We came up to visit the CMP shooting park and after a 9-hour ride, we were pretty hungry. This place is a no-frills southern gem. Ordered up chopped pork with fries, okra, and cornbread along with BBQ chicken half, okra, green beans, and cornbread. Oh, man ......OH, man...OH, MAN!!! The food was delicious. The chicken and chopped pork were moist and flavorful....add the homemade BBQ sauce and it was epic. Okra was very good and the beans tasted of the bacon they are cooked with....but not greasy. Fries were crispy and good also....only miss was the small cornbread muffins....dense but still had a good corn flavor. Check out the prices.....almost make one want to move to AL.

12/4/20 My Gordon Ramsey review: this little bbq spot in Oxford was packed and I can see why!! The food was amazing . The Mac and cheese was cream and gave me the homemade feel . The wings got tore up . Wanted some bbq wings but hey it's all good . The desserts are limited to 2 pies but they got me smiling . Will be back to brads

Wow. So, we stumbled upon this jewel of a place while driving through oxford...& boy am I happy we did! It was a total of 12 people in our group and everyone enjoyed their food. This hardly ever happens so, I think this speaks to itself. Some in our group had the BBQ, chicken, and even salads... I had the fried whole catfish and Ohhh my gah. #amazing I was surprised because good catfish is hard to find.. let alone whole! I had a side baked potato and fried okra.. that was good too! Hopefully I'll stumble around in Oxford again but, if you are... stop. Order the food! You won't regret it.
